Welcome back! It’s the fiftieth anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission and humanity’s first steps on the Moon. We kick off our first episode back from an extended hiatus by discussing the steps of the mission and some of the unsung heroes that got us to to the Moon.

And we follow that discussion right along to where we’re going next: back to the Moon. We talk about the motivation and potential for success of NASA’s Artemis missions to put humans back on the Moon and create a springboard to Mars. Enjoy!

Sorry for the delay getting this episode up! We’re switching to a new platform for hosting our podcast, and we’ve been extremely busy with life and the holidays.

In this episode we follow up—briefly—on our discussion of gun violence in the previous episode, talk about two very strange objects in space, and discuss the controversial topic of Saudi Arabia making a robot a Saudi citizen.
